Monday 11th May – Heir Hunter – we welcome back Lloyd Pitcairn from Pitcairn Research. Lloyd is coming to tell us about his work both as a Genealogist, and an Heir Hunter. This is sure to be as entertaining and informative as Lloyd’s last talk. 7.30 pm in the church hall, with coffee / tea afterwards. All are welcome!
Monday 1st June – Afternoon trip to Rosslyn Chapel – please note that this date is one week later than the date in the programme, due to difficulties with group booking. We are off on our annual afternoon trip, this year we are going to Rosslyn Chapel. This is an impressive place to visit and will make for an interesting afternoon. Group booking has not been easy, so we are very much tied to our guided tour time slot of 2.00 pm. There is a lovely cafe where we will enjoy a welcome cuppa and snack afterwards. There are lots of us ladies with cars who will be only too pleased to offer transport. If you would like to come, please just let us know.
Monday 8th June – SUMMER LUNCH – we are back at the Keavil House Hotel, Crossford, for our lunch. This has always proved to be a great success with a lovely 2 course buffet lunch. We gather at 12 noon ready to sit down at 12.30.
