Vestry Update

Vestry Update

Vestry members of Holy Trinity attended a meeting with representatives of St Margaret’s and held a joint meeting with interim Bishop Kevin Pearson to discuss the next steps to be taken in the vacancy.

Both meetings were positive and looked to moving forward together through the vacancy and in the future. The process of finding a new Rector has now begun and congregational profiles are being put together. Bishop Kevin will lead us through the various stages and expects that good progress will have been made by early autumn. The Vestry is currently updating our Congregational Profile.
Rev’d Christoph Wutscher, Stirling, attended the joint meeting and our recent Vestry meeting.

The Certificates for Lay Eucharistic Ministry have been renewed and licences received to administer the Chalice and the Reserve Sacrament to the housebound. Thank-you to all for their dedication and service.
Vestry members had the opportunity to visit the Rectory and have agreed to obtain quotes to maintain the grounds and make improvements to the interior of the Rectory.

Quotes are also being obtained to repair the drains of the Church and the leak in the roof has been repaired. The Vestry has decided to look into obtaining new robes for the choir.

Congratulations to Rebecca Fleming who was invited to meet the First Minister and represented PYC and the Scottish Episcopal Church.
