Rector Vacancy

On behalf of the Diocese of St Andrews, Dunkeld and Dunblane
Scottish Episcopal Church, we open applications for the position of Rector at Holy Trinity Dunfermline.

We open applications for the position of Rector of Holy Trinity Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland. Located in West Fife in the centre of Dunfermline, a town at the heart of Scottish history, but now the vibrant core of the most populous locality in Fife. Holy Trinity is a welcoming church with a strong musical tradition, and a Youth Fellowship used as an example to the wider Scottish Episcopal Church.

Holy Trinity aspires to be a broad church, reaching out to the community, both young and old. Our goal is to build on our Young Church and Youth Fellowship, and to meet the needs of our congregation both in person and online. We utilise modern technology to support these ambitions, whilst honouring our Episcopalian traditions and history.

We are looking for a Rector to join and share in our tradition of good pastoral ministry who can inspire, support and develop the life of our gathered congregation, encouraging and building on our many skills and strengths. The full time stipendiary role is based at Holy Trinity Dunfermline. In return we offer a supportive and active Vestry and an admin assistant along with a recently refurbished Rectory, close to local amenities and transport links across Scotland.

The appointment is subject to an enhanced Disclosure Scotland check.

A detailed profile along with application forms can be requested from the diocesan website. Any questions about the church, congregation or location please get in touch with the Dean.
