Looking back on Harvest

Some of our harvest decorations

Thank you to everyone who attended our Harvest Service last week for their generous donations in aid of Dunfermline Foodbank.

The congregation donated amazing 59.7kgs of food which was taken to our Local Dunfermline Foodbank. We will still be collecting for the foodbank each week so please feel free to keep donating or donate for the first time. As we watch the cost of living crisis spiral we know the foodbank will be a key support for so many of our local community. In addition to the great donation the retiring collection totalled £203.50 which will also go towards their great work.

Harvest Lunch

Lunch in the hall

For the first time since lockdown we had our first social fundraiser at the church in the form of our charity harvest lunch. Expertly put together by our choir the Harvest lunch raised a further £225.00. It was great to share a meal together across the congregation and raise money for such a good cause.

Thanks to all those who got our dishwasher up and running which sped up the clean up and kept our hygiene standards top notch. We cant wait to see you at our next social meal but if you want to hire the hall or plan your own please get in touch.
