Here is our program for the Good Friday Happening 2020!
The Good Friday Happening is an event where young people enjoy a range of activities all connected to the Easter story. This is usually one of our largest and most enjoyable gatherings. It will be strange not to be with everyone this Friday. However, we hope that we can still continue to celebrate and share videos and photos.
Andrew and Rachel will be live streaming all your submitted videos on YouTube (the new Holy Trinity Dunfermline channel) at 4pm on Good Friday – we hope you can all join us for a time of fellowship, celebration and prayer.
Watch, The Story of Easter – The Beginners Bible
1. Make, draw or act out an Easter Garden or scene
2. Colour or paint an Easter Egg for your window
We are hoping to hold an Easter Egg Hunt this year, just like having a teddy or rainbow in your window, we would like you to put an Easter egg in your window to have an Easter egg hunt like others across the world are involved in!
3. Write a reflective family prayer
A short prayer for Easter to share with our church family.
4. Make an Easter cross (here is an idea to collage a flower cross)
5. Record a short video with your family to show us all the activities you have completed and share an Easter message for the congregation and friends at YC.
Remember and tell us your names and where you are from. Please record your video Horizontally so it fills the screen. If you have any issues recording a video or sending it in let us know as there are other ways you can get involved. Send to moc.liamtohnull@reklaw.hcar or message them to the HTD Facebook or YC WhatsApp ASAP on Friday but by 2pm at the latest so we can compile them in time for our livestream at 4pm.
Please feel free to share this with friends and family so we can all share the Easter joy and love despite being at home.
Join us on Holy Trinity Dunfermline YouTube channel at 4pm on Good Friday to celebrate together the activities we have shared. We hope you can all join us for a time of fellowship, celebration and prayer.
We hope you enjoy your ‘At Home Good Friday Happening’. We are looking forward to seeing all your videos and photos on Good Friday at 4pm on our YouTube Channel. If you can’t make it, the video can be watched back anytime on our website, YouTube or Facebook page.
