Diocesan Update

Our annual Gathering at the Cathedral may have been postponed until the end of the year, but plenty of other events have been planned to enable us to meet and pray together in various parts of the diocese in the months ahead. For more information about work across the Diocease check out the website: http://www.standrews.anglican.org

A Pilgrimage to St Andrews will be held on 28th July along the Fife Pilgrim Way. A choice of three routes with different starting points means that walkers of all ages and abilities and also those using wheelchairs or pushing buggies can participate. The day will finish with worship in the ruins of the cathedral and refreshments at All Saints church. More information and an application form will be available soon.

The first of a series of Labyrinth Prayer Walking Evenings was held at St Serf’s, Comrie on 18th April where an indoor labyrinth donated to the diocese was used for the first time, as well as the grass labyrinth in the Glebe Meadow. Please look
out for information about other labyrinth walking events in other parts of the diocese and also for a guide to eight local labyrinths which can be visited by individuals or church groups. The indoor canvas labyrinth which is 14 foot in diameter is available for any
church group to borrow from the Diocesan Office.

Finally, you are invited to contribute to a
Photographic Exhibition entitled ‘Our People and Places in Pictures’ which will travel around the diocese in the autumn. No expertise or special equipment is needed – just an eye for an image that captures an aspect of our diocese. Twelve of the exhibits will be chosen to feature in a 2019 diocesan calendar.
