The Diocesan Net Zero Environment Gathering is being held on Sunday 22nd September. The event is being held in St Ninian’s Cathedral, Perth. We ask that participants bring a snack lunch with them to eat at some point between 1 and 2.30pm. During this time there will be an opportunity to chat with others and browse information stands that will be set up in the Chapter House and/or the cloister.
During our worship we will have the opportunity to spend time in two of four Stations, each of 30 minutes duration. Participants are asked to select in advance their preferred Stations. Information on the Stations is attached. These choices will be accommodated as far as possible. Full information from each Station will be given to everyone.
If participants have a household item that they no longer use, please do bring it along for our ‘Swap Shop’. You never know, there might be something there that you would like!
The SEC’s journey to Net Zero is a crucial part of our mission as a church. The Diocesan Environment Group and Diocesan Mission Board would be most grateful if at least one person from each charge could attend. It will be an afternoon of encouragement and sharing no matter how big or small your congregation or reserves!
