From 18:15-19:45 Fife Cluster YF usually meet for a time of fun and fellowship with friends. This Sunday we have had to put a hold on our meetings like all other groups to keep safe.

Our leaders have shared what they have done with their day keeping safe by isolating but still sharing in faith and friendship, virtually or at a distance. We thought this may add a welcome change from other news in this worrying time.

Kenny enjoyed the spring sunshine whilst chatting to family.

Kenny hopes everyone can stay safe and well. He has family visiting so they will need to find ways of giving each other space. He is also planning to use this time to catch up on some reading.

Christine hopes everyone is safe and well. She has had a busy day doing a closed doors service, knitting, walking the YF mascot Bubbles and looking at the waves on the beach.

Christine wants to remind delegates we are all here for each other and will spend the next while doing lots of craft and reading all the books that are piled on her desk.

Wedge started watching a new TV show His Dark Materials which is on BBC iPlayer and enjoyed cooking sea bass with risotto for tea.

Wedge is still working from home but looks forward to catching up on the latest series of Outlander too.

Rachel watched the new Lion King this afternoon and enjoyed a strawberry and marshmallow chocolate fondue after dinner.

Rachel is hoping to do more self-care and continue bible journaling.

James hopes all are well during social distancing and isolation. He has taken time out to be outdoors in God’s creation by taking a still afternoons walk which meant he got to see this squirrel resting up a tree next to the village church:

James enjoyed being thankful for where Ellie and he live, taking time to pray for our community and those around us. He will be teaching his grandparents how to use their new iPhone to stay in communication with the family. He has enjoyed being in different places for worship taking advantage of the benefits technology can provide.

Sarah, a YF delegate who turned 17 today, has spent her day revising for an online Chemistry prelim she has tomorrow. We send birthday wishes and best of luck for tomorrow.

Sarah recommended watching TV show Race Across the World on BBC iPlayer and Lucy from YF agreed.

Fife Cluster YF want to wish all our congregations, delegates and their loved ones our thoughts, prayers and best wishes at this uncertain time and best of luck for those facing exams or coursework pressures (remember you can get in touch with any of us at any time to be a word of comfort, support or listening ear).

The Peace of God be with you all.
