Young Church
On good Shepherd Sunday the Young Church discussed the meaning of the Good Shepherd and also went on to produce some delicious sheep cakes like the example in the picture.
Jesus often referred to Sheep, as a major part of the economies in those times shepherds and their sheep held a significant role in society. Who would hold a similar role in our society now? Post Assention and now Pentecost we look to go out into the world ourselves to spread the good news and to that Jesus gave us advice:
“I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves.”
